KI Rivers – Watermelon Farming in the Desert
March 4 @ 6:30 pmFree
KI Rivers offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere for like-minded people to enjoy networking and world-class teaching.
To kick start March we are blessed to have our very own Aaron Salisbury sharing along with special guest,
Paul is an entrepreneurial businessman, farming in the middle of Australia!
Losing it all and starting again! Moving from a fear of failure to learning to operate in fearless faith!
Paul is a visionary, and pioneer – with his farm on Indigenous land, where he was invited by the local elders: “We want you to come up to our country with your big bulldozers, to clear our land, to grow crops and to give our children a hope and a future.” This has been one of the greatest honours in Paul’s life – It is believed that this is the first time in Australian history that a white man has been invited to farm Indigenous land, and it has given Paul insight into the lives and history of our First Nation people.
As well as farming, Paul has had a number of businesses outside of farming including a building business, shares in a marketing business, and has been on a number of boards- including private companies, state and national industry boards, which has involved dealing with lots of people including meeting with federal ministers and government of all levels. Paul’s heart is to see every person walking in the purpose and destiny God has planned for them.
