KI Rivers – Faith, Influence, and Redemption in the Marketplace

July 15 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

KI Rivers provides individuals with the structure, the environment, the training and the strategies to deliver the KI objectives in their local communities. KI Rivers offers a friendly and supportive atmosphere for like-minded people to enjoy networking and world-class teaching.

Despite the news headlines, now is a pivotal moment for the kingdom of God to rise through His people and bring transformative change. For too long, the kingdom of darkness has ruled in the Earth. As the body of Christ overcomes the restraining lies that have held it back, fosters a renewed vision for impactful and purposeful work, and understands the deeper purpose behind our professional endeavors, God will be glorified. In turn, our influence and affluence in the marketplace will increase. For two decades, our guest speaker, Helen Mitchell has been a prominent voice in the U.S. faith and work movement. Her career includes being an Area VP at AT&T by age 30, a pastor at Saddleback Church, and the architect and visionary of the Saddleback@Work ministry. Currently, she’s a leadership coach, an ethics, leadership, and strategy professor at Biola University’s Crowell School of Business, and Director of the Talbot Center for Faith, Work & Economics. Passionate about activating people’s callings, accelerating and transforming leaders and organizations, she also aims to equip the local church with a biblical understanding of faith, work, and economics. Helen holds master’s degrees in organizational leadership and biblical and theological studies from Biola and Talbot, respectively, and attended the Senior Executive Program at Columbia University.
